READ BEFORE READING THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS. I read the reviews on this pram carefully before deciding on it. It was a hard choice because some of the ones that were a bit more expensive had better reviews, but we couldn't afford the extra $10. I discounted this pram because of those negative reviews. In the end, I really wanted my daughter to have a pram specifically, so I decided to give this one a try and hoped it wasn't as bad as it was made out to be. It's not! I honestly feel like this pram got a bad rap.First off, the instructions are not totally clear. That may have been why some people gave it fewer stars. The basket stays on the frame nicely. But, only if you push the pink clips over the metal bars that are attached to the underside of the basket. If you dont do that, there is no way the basket will stay on the frame. (See pic.)There is also a pink cap that needs to be slid down over the leg bar in order to keep the frame from collapsing. (Not mentioned in the instructions.) The manufacturer included a bar lever that prevents the frame from completely colapsing when it is angled toward the ground. It's a smart feature to prevent pinched fingers. (See pic.)The base of the basket is a piece of wood composite that should hold up just fine. If it breaks I will likely just trace out a thin piece of wood that's sturdier. As long as you keep your child from standing in the basket, or overloading it with too much weight, I am not sure how it would break. Our wheels all came with the caps. But, even without the caps there is a small metal clip that you push to get the wheels locked in place. I dont know if this is a new feature, but it seems to alleviate some of the reviews that say the wheels wouldn't stay on. As long as I pushed the wheel on completely and pushed the metal piece down far enough, the wheels held tightly in place. (See pic.)Overall, we love this pram. My girls, 8 and 3 years old, both adore it. My 8 yo may end up wanting one for her birthday. She keeps trying to take this one to play with it. My 3 yo son is also a big fan. He pushes it around like he's driving a race car. Good thing we dont have any small pets. Although, we do have a cat and I can just see him pushing him around, and crashing. Hopefully he doesn't think about taking Mr. Kitty for a ride. The other thing I like about it is that the part that angles down to become an umbrella type stroller can be put at several different angles and gives you a wider range for play. My daughter likes to put it about half way down. (See pic.)I love this thing so much I wish I had one when I was a kid!No dislike,Granddaughter is loving thisBought this for granddaughter. When the larger bassinet is on the stroller it tends to topple over easily. There should be two clips on each side to hold it but there’s just one therefore is a little bit wobbly. Nothing heavier than doll should be put in it due to tipping over. It is very cute though and she does love it. Good height for 5 year old.The carriage folds for easy storage. Great value for the price. It's a carriage, a baby carrier, a stroller. Was the best gift of the morning.I got this for my daughter for Christmas. She absolutely loved it. It takes a few minutes to put together but it's not difficult at all. My daughter automatically grabbed every doll and stuffed animal she had and put all of them into the basket and took it for a spin. It rolls really well over carpet, tile, and wood floors. The wheels don't leave any marks. Even though I told my daughter, who is part 1 of my twins, not to get in the stroller . . . It happened. The twins pushed themselves around the house in the stroller. Surprisingly the stroller was ok. So it held my daughter who weighs 50lbs. Not that I recommend putting children in here, I'm just saying it's stronger then it looks. Changing from stroller to pram to carrier is easy too. The material has held up so far with only spot cleaning. I got my moneys worth so far. The kids still play with it.Its perfect for my tall 6 year old!! She love it. The only problem with this pram is sometimes the carrier comes off other than that its perfectThis item was used, thereby discounted & unfortunately I didn't look at it until my Grandson was able to come by & put it together, well past my return limit. The tie rods/dowels are missing. I will get something we can use at Home Depot, but the wheels won't turn right. On the other hand, fortunately this is for a doll display only, so it will work for me. Luckily it isn't a gift for a child. Disappointed with Amazon that they would sell a toy with such an important part missing.Good quality
